okay, now i would like to talk about our pensi theme, 80's.
some of us has bad thoughts about this theme, because they think that it won't be interesting. wearing 80's dress, listening to 80's music, and so on. so, i would like to ask you. do you think that the theme is good for our pensi? why/why not?
friends, i think that our blog (english corner 2) is deteriorating. i mean, no one seems interested anymore. no one post great topics to be discussed. what happen to you guys? hehehehe..
we only have a little more time to use this blog, so, i'm waiting for your participation.

I think that theme is a good idea. We usually like to use theme, which people think it's interested like fairy tale and one night in Tokyo.
ReplyDeleteBut we haven't taken the theme like this before, flashback many years ago. It is good for us to know, what were there in year 80's.
Don't just think about what kind of clothes must we wear (it is beautiful or not)! The important thing that we can attend it and participate together ha...ha...

ReplyDeleteno, pensi is different from prom night. pensi stands for pentas seni, it is an annual event in our school which is held , usually around march.
ReplyDelete"pentas" means a show, and "seni" means art. ya, maybe pentas seni can be translated into art show ( i don't know what is the correct english term for this)..
in this event, students show off their talents in singing, dancing, performing a group band, etc. we sometimes also invite a famous band in indonesia to come and make the event even hilarious. hehehe..

I love 80`s themes, i love 80`s music. It was so romantic and deep. With a simple lyric but full of meaning.
I remember that since i was in this school, the themes of pensi always adopted from other country
for example "Wingardium Leviosa" (3 years ago)
"One night in Tokyo" (2years ago)
I think the 80`s themes is so creative !!
